Lassen - Shasta Travel Itinerary

Hello all! So good to see you here again. Today I am sharing my Lassen - Shasta travel itinerary. I have not used it yet, but I plan on using it sometime soon. If you stumble upon this blog and think that it may be something that you'd like to use, please feel free to use it. As always, feedback from you is welcome.

Mount Lassen National Park, located in northeastern California, is home to steaming fumaroles, meadows freckled with wildflowers, clear mountain lakes, and numerous volcanoes. The park’s dominant feature is Lassen Peak, the largest plug dome volcano in the world and the southernmost volcano in the Cascade Range. The area surrounding Lassen Peak is still active with boiling mud pots, fumaroles, and hot springs.

Just to the North of Mount Lassen National Park, there is Mount Shasta, a potentially active volcano at the southern end of the Cascade Range in Siskiyou County, California. At an elevation of 14,179 feet, it is the second-highest peak in the Cascades and the fifth highest in the state. The mountain and surrounding area are part of the Shasta–Trinity National Forest. The area is also blessed with many waterfalls.

3 to 4 Perfect Days in Lassen - Shasta

When I finally try this trip itinerary, I will have another post with some pictures to share. Perhaps some more relevant details that could be useful and not captured in the original plan.

    Happy traveling! ~San
